SRCA Informant
Green? Yes.
Timely? Yes.
Electronic and social media have landed! Welcome to the preview edition of Smoke Rise eNews and new home of the SRCA Informant. As we steam toward 2010, the Smoke Rise Community Association (SRCA) Board of Directors decided it was time for our neighborhood information to go high tech. You want up-to-the-minute updates and today we find them on the internet-now you can obtain neighborhood info via this email newsletter, on Facebook at Smoke Rise, GA 30087, and at our website www.smokerise.org
Contact SmokeRiseENews@gmail.com to subscribe to current events that impact our community & quality of life. If you provided an email address with your SRCA membership, you should already be in the database. This list is closely guarded and never provided/sold to any other source. Feel free to forward this publication to your neighbors so they, too, can benefit from receiving timely news dispatches. If this was forwarded to you, just send an email with the word "Subscribe" in the title line to be added to the circulation list.

News Bites
2010 Census
SRCA has been designated a Census Ambassador by DeKalb Commissioner Connie Stokes of Super District 7. A full and accurate count of citizens will enable DeKalb to get its fair share of more than $400 billion of available funds to support vital local services such as health care, schools, law enforcement, transportation, and social services. On a national level, it is estimated that Georgia could potentially gain 2 additional congressional seats if everyone is counted. We will be provide updated information after the first of the year.
Pet Lost and Found
